The Wheaton Wings
A Program of the Wheaton Park District

The Wheaton Wings are the Wheaton Park District's competitive traveling soccer club. The Wheaton Wings were in existence from 1978 until fall 2003 then merged into the Chicago Fire Juniors. In the fall of 2007, after four outstanding years of partnership, the Chicago Fire Juniors then merged with the Naperville Lightning. Since then, the Wheaton Park District has received overwhelming interest from residents to again field a competitive soccer club. The Wheaton Park District received interest from residents to start a new competitive soccer club, so we're bringing the Wheaton Wings back to play competitive soccer against other "select" traveling clubs in north Illinoios. The Wings will field U8 to U14 girl's teams to compete in the Illinois Women's Soccer League (IWSL) and U8 to U14 boy's teams to compete in the Northern Illinois Soccer League (NISL). Team rosters are finalized in June 2009 to compete in both the fall 2009 and spring 2010 seasons.
