 How is a player selected for a Wings team?
Open tryouts are held in the beginning of June for Wheaton residents only. The tryouts include drills designed to test soccer skills and a scrimmage with the other players. All players who are interested in playing for the Wheaton Wings must attend at least one of the two tryout days to be considered for a team, but it is recommended that players attend both tryout days so they can be given adequate time to show us their talents. If for any reason the tryouts were missed, you may contact the Wings to see if there are any roster openings. Trainers from Future Pros administer the tryouts and choose the players.
